Short biography of member:

I have a background in Biology and Biotechnology, with expertise in Molecular Biology, focusing on microRNA research. Before starting my Postdoc, I lectured Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Brazil, when I co-founded Instituto Ciência para Saúde [Institute Science for Health], which aims to communicate scientific research applied to disease prevention and treatment. Currently, I develop research on RNAs as biomarkers for cardiovascular disease and coordinate the NPO Cardiolinc (cardiolinc.org), a network to advance the development and growth of personalized medicine in the cardiovascular field.
