Welcome to the 5th EU-CARDIOPROTECTION COST Action MC and WG Meeting, September 16-18th, 2019 in Oslo, Norway at Oslo University Hospital Rikshospitalet!

The first day of the meeting is a workshop on animal models and co-morbidities, which is an exciting topic for every researcher in targeting cardiac ischemia/reperfusion injury and will give valuable insights when choosing your cardioprotection model for both established and young scientists.

The following two days will be held several key-notes by internationally recognised speakers about H2S, macrophages, inflammasomes, OMICS and microvasculature in cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury in addition to discussion of specific projects aiming at cardioprotection.

The scientific program will be accompanied by a rich social program, which is included in the registration fee (in addition to lunches and breaks during the meeting)!

Registration fee for this 2.5 day meeting is 100€ for COST MC members and 250€ for all other participants.

The meeting site:

Rikshospitalet (Sognsvannsveien 20, 0372 Oslo). You can take the tram 17 or 18 from the city center to the final stop Rikshospitalet, or you can take the subway, line 4 or 5, direction West, and get off at Forskningsparken (followed by tram 17 or 18 to Rikshospitalet), or subway line 1, direction West, and get off at Gaustad.

Lecture Hall: Grønt auditorium, main hospital building (B section), downstairs from the main hall – signs will guide you.
